Agribusiness Support Fund (ASF) is at the forefront of agribusiness and rural economy development & facilitation in Pakistan. The company was established to strengthen and support demand-driven private sector service delivery mechanisms throughout horticulture and livestock agribusiness value chains. It aims to strengthen areas such as technical advisory services, access to finance, supply inputs, production, processing, and market access for domestic and export markets.
ASF has spread its wings over all provinces and special areas of Pakistan. Asian Farmers Association for Sustainable Rural Development (AFA) is implementing the Asia Pacific Farmers Program (APFP) and Farmers Organizations for Asia (FO4A) in 29 countries of SAARC, ASEAN, East Asia, and Pacific Regions. All this trailblazing work is made possible due to the grant funding of a specialized UN agency – the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD),
ASF is the national implementing partner of the Asia Pacific Farmers Program/Farmer Organizations for Asia (FO4A). Its main goal is to provide an enabling environment for rural poverty reduction. It aims to achieve this goal through technical and financial support to rural smallholders and their organizations at national and regional levels in Asia and the Pacific.
